Africa, a land of contrasts and diversity – provides its visitors with wide variety of adventures and experiences. The unqiue wildlife experiences of the various game reserves and its vast natural history attracts millions of visitors every year to Africa. 1. The Pyramids of Giza and Sphinx of Egypt

The Pyramids of Giza in Egypt are the most popular tourists’ destination of the world. It is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. The Pyramids and the Sphinx is believed to be constructed around 5000 year ago by the first civilization of the earth. It is being estimated that about 20,000 laborers must have worked on this construction project and nearly 2 million blocks of stone were used just to build one of the three pyramids in Giza. Going around the pyramid is pretty easy – you can just walk around or take horse or a camel ride. Visitors entering inside the Pyramid may feel claustrophobic, so appropriate care should be taken. There is quite a bit of climbing of narrow and steep steps inside the pyramid.

2. Cape Town

Cape Town is considered to be the most beautiful city in South Africa and in the entire world. It is a rich city in terms of its cultural background. You will find a mixture of French, Indonesian, Dutch, German, and British population in Cape Town. Because of its warm summer and moderate winter weather Cape Town is the year round holiday destination.

Famous Table Mountain is the city’s landmark. Visitors likes to hike on its beautiful hiking trails. For those visitors who like to enjoy in more relaxed way, they choose cable cars to go up to the table mountain and enjoy the scenery.

Cape Point is yet another most beautiful spot in the city which draws attention of visitors. It is located south-east of the Cape Peninsula. Cape Point is mountainous and amazingly scenic.

Blouberg beach is the most popular and the longest beach in South Africa. It is mostly crowded on weekends. It offers stunning views of the Table Mountain.  Other beautiful coastal areas around the city are Clifton, Camps Bay, Llandudno,Hout Bay, Bantry Bay, and Blouberg.

3. Victoria Falls, Zambia-Zimbabwe

Victoria Falls is one of the most popular destination in Africa. Located in between Zambia and Zimbabwe, this fall is considered to be the seven natural wonders of the world and one of the largest falls in the world. It is 1.7 km wide and 355 feet high and in wet season it pours more than 500 million liters of water on the edge into the Zambezi River. The amount of water is so huge that it shoots up to 1000 feet high in the sky and its spray can be seen from 30 miles.

 4. Mt. Kilimanjaro, Tanzania

Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania is 19341 feet high and it is the highest freestanding mountain in the world. The mountain consists of three distinct volcanic cones namely Kibo, Mawenzi, and Shira. There are 6 climbing routes to go up to the Mt. Kilimanjaro.

 5. Zanzibar

Zanzibar is an archipelago off the coast of East Africa. It is one of the world’s few unspoiled beach island destinations. Beaches here comprises of white silky sand and amazing turquoise-blue waters which attracts visitors. The visitors can swim in pristine water of the Indian Ocean, relax under the coconut trees, or sun bathe. The island is far away from busy and noisy city life.  6. Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park is one of the most popular park in Tanzania and in the world. It is considered to be the best wildlife reserve of Africa because of its density of prey and predators. The park is expanded in about 14,763 sq km area.
