 1. Buenos Aires

2. Barrancas de Belgarano park

Iguazú Falls is one of the top destinations of South America. It is taller than Niagara Falls and twice as big in width in a horseshoe shape. This grand waterfall is the result of a big volcanic eruption of the past which had left the large crack here. The view of the fall is extremely and surprisingly beautiful. The great force and noise of the waterfall  is so large that it will remain alive in the thoughts for a long long time. Iguazú Falls lie in between Brazil and Argentina in the midst of a rainforest.

5. Glaciar Perito Moreno

Glaciar Perito Moreno is one of the most stunning glacier in this region of the world. It is located on the southern part of the Los Glaciares National  Park. It is 30km long, 5km wide and 60m high. It is so exceptional in the world because of the fact that it is one of the very few glacier that is constantly changing. The glacier advances up to 2m per day.

6. Peninsula Valdes

It is located on the Atlantic coastal region of Argentina. It is most famous as one of the world’s biggest wildlife reserves. Visitors come here especially to see the breeding ground of the whales. Once in Peninsula Valdes, you can see elephant seals and large numbers of sea lions in their natural habitat. You could also witness the great killer whale, Orcas.

7. Mendoza

Argentina is well known for its Malbec wine, produced in the vineyards of the city of Mendoza. Wineries offers tours and a free wine tastings. Apart from the wineries, Mendoza is just few miles away from Mount Aconcagua. Surrounded by the most beautiful scenery, it was once the location for the Brad Pitt’s movie “Seven Years in Tibet”.
