1. Historic Columbia River Highway
Columbia River Highway is a gorgeous winding and the first paved road in Northwest America. It is located in the state of Oregon. It is also considered to be the first scenic highway in this region. During spring, one can also enjoy the gushing water of the beautiful waterfalls along the highway. This highway is full of beautiful waterfalls on the roadside with few of them can be reached by a short hike. Popular waterfalls are Multnomah Falls, Latourell Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, and Wahkeena Falls.
2. Turquoise Trail
This trail has always been a major trade route since about 2000 BC. Nowadays, it has become the beautiful scenic back road between Albuquerque and Santa Fe. It is located in central New Mexico. There is a place called Tinkertown, an animated miniature village with beautiful desert scenery. The Turquoise Trail comprises 15,000 square miles. It is a beautiful road trip one should take. 4. Pig Trail Byway
The Pig Trail Byway is an 80 miles road from Ozark to Eureka Springs. Drive just north of the town of Ozark, and you will find this awesome view of the wild lilies.
5. Hwy 12, Utah
This is a scenic drive of about 107 miles from Torrey to Bryce Canyon National Park. It offers gorgeous landscapes of Southwest America which passes through Red Canyon, Bryce Canyon National Park, and the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. This scenic drive ends at the entrance of Capitol Reef National Park.
6. Overseas Highway or Hwy 1, Florida

7. Delmarva Peninsula (Hwys 50 and 13)

52-mile gorgeous drive on this Montana road is very popular and the most beautiful. You can take this scenic road drive inside Glacier National Park in Montana. It remains open only for about 4 months starting from early June to mid-October. It is true to its name. You will find sky high stretch which goes over the grand Continental Divide. It is a long 332 miles scenic drive that you should take from San Francisco to Santa Barbara. Highway 1 is one of America’s most iconic roads. The long narrow stretch of the road above the ocean on one side and the great redwood trees on the other side look very beautiful.
10. Blue Ridge Parkway:
This is a huge 469 miles of scenic drive which starts from Shenandoah National Park in Virginia to Great Smoky Mountains National Park in North Carolina. It is the most rugged portion of southwest Virginia. When you enter the Blue Ridge Parkway you will soon find yourself in the strands of dogwood and fir, and a number of waterfalls. It is most popular during the fall season and also in spring when the wildflowers bloom. The scenery is spectacular.
