1. Shimla & Kullu Manali

The capital city of the state of Himachal Pradesh, Shimla is a beautiful destination for both summer and winter seasons. Located at the altitude of 2159 m in the northern part of the country, it is covered with dense forests filled with pines and oak trees. Natural beauty is all around the places. People can enjoy skiing in winter, fishing, trekking. Kulfri and Naldhera are few best-known places where you can trek or go for a horseback ride, as well as camping. Many tourists also get most interested in the toy train ride, which runs between Kalka and Shimla.

One of the most famous places to visit here is the Nilgiri Mountains, also known as the Blue Mountain. It is called the Blue Mountain because of its blue haze, which surrounds it. Visitors love the Doddabetta Peak, which is the highest peak in Nilgiris hills. Other nearby places worth visiting are Mudumalai Wildlife Sanctuary, Mukurthi National Park, Ketti valley view, Pykara Lake, Katery falls, Pykara Falls.

On the way to Ooty you can also enjoy the coffee and tea plantation in massive acres of land. There are several trek routes available in the surrounding area, which attracts trekkers. Other adventures sports to enjoy here are angling and hand gliding. 5. Kodaikanal

Kodaikanal is a hill station located in south India in the state of Tamil Nadu. It is surrounded by a breathtaking views of the Palani Hills, scenic waterfalls, and beautiful lakes. It enjoys excellent weather all year round, so you do not have to wait for the best season to visit this place. It is situated at an elevation of 2,133 m. There are many fruit orchards in Kodaikanal. There is one famous Kurinji-flower, which blooms once in a decade. And when it blooms, the whole mountain slopes transforms in to beautiful bluish-purplish color.
